Does this BC SSSP template cover prime contractor requirements?
Yes. This editable template framework includes the structural core needed to outline prime contractor qualifications, site-specific hazard identification, emergency coordinates, and project safety logs required by WorkSafeBC inspectors and general contractors on BC jobs.
Does my safety manual template need to be updated every year?
No. Your health and safety manual will only need to be updated if there has been a major ohs regulation change in your province - for a particular topic. Regulation changes do not happen as often as you may think. You may not see any major regulation changes for many-many years (10+ years). However, if for any reason there is a major regulation change in your province - and one of your manual policies will require an edit - our team will email you many months ahead to give you a heads up! We will send you the new regulation requirements and editing your manual will only take a few minutes.
 
Are your health and safety manual templates up to date with current provincial regulations?
​Yes. All our current health and safety plan templates have been updated to meet with current provincial occupational health and safety regulations.

​What is the difference between the general industry and construction safety manual template?
Our General industry safety plan, is specifically designed for any industry/business in your province which is NOT construction related. Our Construction industry safety plan is specifically designed for construction related businesses in your province.

Can I request to add more policies or procedures to your templates made specific to my type of business?
Yes you can! Our safety manual templates have been developed to meet with the minimum legal requirements for each province which all businesses must follow. However, we can add additional safety and health policies to our templates which can be developed, by one of our consultants, to be made specific to your business tasks. The cost for additional policies or procedures are as follows. Payment for the upgrade of our templates must be made prior to the actual upgrade. The upgrade itself will take anywhere from 3 to 5 business day to complete. A copy of your upgraded health and safety manual template will be emailed to you in MS Word and PDF format upon completion. We will also add in your company logo and company into the program for you.

Once you place your purchase an MS WORD format copy of the manual including forms will automatically be sent to your email address. From there all you need to do is add in your company LOGO and company NAME into the program (instructions are provided or you can email us with your logo and company name and we will happily do it for you). Ensure you spell your email correctly when placing your order. If for any reason upon purchase you do not see the templates in your email inbox (please also check your spam folder), no problem, just contact us and we will immediately email you a copy.

Can I edit my safety manual template?
Yes, You can! Upon successful purchase you will receive your safety manual template in MS WORD format, which means you can edit your document at anytime. The table of contents is also automatically adjustable.

What if your safety manual template has a policy in it that does not apply to my business, can your template still work for my business?
Absolutely! If for any reason our template has a policy within it that does not apply to your business, simply delete it from your manual. Once you have deleted the policy, simply update your table of contents (we have provided you with instructions on how to do so).
