PRACTICAL EVALUATION (CSA STANDARDS)
Upon successful completion of any of our bucket truck operator certification online course, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print immediately. You will receive your complete and full certification after the theory portion of the course. However, in order to finalize your certification as per CSA Standards, a practical evaluation needs to be completed at some point. So how is this done through an online course? It's quite easy actually. Once you complete the theory portion of the course, a practical evaluation checklist will be provided to you to download. You will provide this checklist to any supervisor across Canada (i.e. your current employer or future employer) and he/she can provide you with the practical evaluation (instructions are provided on how to do so and so is a complete easy to follow checklist). Once the practical portion of the course is completed by your Supervisor - keep the completed and signed checklist with you for record keeping. The practical evaluation should take no more than 30 to 35 minutes.
COURSE LENGTH: 90 MINS
In this online course you will learn about the set-up and safe operation of vehicle mounted aerial lifts. More specifically, you will be introduced to aerial lifts and common ways that they are used. This course will also cover the anatomy of the equipment, the importance of pre-shift inspections, stability and safe operation principles, and how to avoid common hazards associated with aerial lift operation. By the end of this course you should have information that will increase your knowledge and help to make you a better operator. Training is needed to ensure safe operation and productivity.
