What are Nova Scotia's health and safety regulations for employee and supervisor training? To successfully manage health and safety in a Nova Scotia workplace, every employer in Nova Scotia should first understand that as an employer, they have obligations under the law. One of these legal obligations put out by the Nova Scotia Workers Compensation Act is to ensure employees and supervisor are provided with information, instruction, safety training, supervision, and facilities to keep their workers safe and healthy. |

MOBILE EQUIPMENT PRACTICAL EVALUATION (CSA Standards)
Upon successful completion of any of our MOBILE EQUIPMENT online courses, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print immediately. You will receive your complete and full certification after the theory portion of the course. However, in order to finalize your certification as per CSA standards, a practical evaluation needs to be completed at some point. So how is this done through an online course? It's quite easy actually. Once you complete the theory portion of the course, a practical evaluation checklist will be provided to you to download. You will provide this checklist to any supervisor across Canada (i.e. your current employer or future employer) and he/she can provide you with the practical evaluation (instructions are provided on how to do so and so is a complete easy to follow checklist). Once the practical portion of the course is completed by your Supervisor - keep the completed and signed checklist with you for record keeping. The practical evaluation should take no more than 30 to 35 minutes. |

JOINT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE TRAINING 8 HOURS
This online course is designed to give Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHS) Committee representatives in Nova Scotia an understanding of their duties and responsibilities under Health and Safety Legislation of Nova Scotia.
