JOSH JOINT OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH COMMITTEE TRAINING PEI
According to PEI OHS Regulations, all businesses with 20 or more employees must have a functioning OHS committee. A Minimum of 2 to 4 members (but not more than 12) should be on your occupational health and safety committee and present at your monthly OHS Committee meeting. However, more JOSH Committee members may be required on your committee based on the size and hazard rating of your business. ALL MEMBERS MUST BE TRAINED AS PER REGULATIONS. It is recommended to also train 1 to 2 alternates in case other members are absent during your monthly meeting. 50% can be management reps and 50% can be employee reps. You cannot have more management reps on your committee than employee reps. Employee Reps must be elected by the workers. Your Joint Health and Safety Committee must meet together at a minimum of once every month.

Study material will consist of handouts, PDF power point slides, videos, sample forms and final exams. Download the study material and forward the downloads to the other students (if required). Complete the final exams (3 in total) and forward all the exam(s) pages to the email provided to you - by PDF scan document or by taking pictures of each exam page (information will be provided on the final exam copies). The exams are mostly multiple choice but do have some written component sections. Answers to all the exam questions are in the power points.
Your exam(s) will then be marked by one of our consultants and your signed certificate of completion will be forwarded to you by email within 1 to 2 business days. We will match the incoming number of exams to your order total.
A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course three times in efforts to achieve the pass mark. No one fails the course. If any member needs to redo the exam(s) - we will email then to do so.
