Any business in Quebec with 20 or more employees must establish a functioning joint health and safety committee in the workplace. This course aims at helping participants to identify and interpret Quebec JHSC member's functions and duties and to carry out their responsibilities to promote workplace health and safety. In Quebec, CNESST OHS regulations require that all potential joint health and safety committee members receive adequate instruction and training to competently fulfill their duties as committee members.
A Joint Health and Safety Committee is required by every employer who has 20 or more workers employed in total throughout the company. A total of 2 to 4 members should be trained and on your committee. 50% management and 50% employee reps is good (or 1 management and 3 employees is good). You cannot have more management reps on your committee than employee reps. It is also recommended to train a few alternates if any of the original members cannot attend the meeting. A minimum of one meeting every 3 months must be held by law.

Complete the final exams (3 in total) and forward all the exam(s) pages to the email provided to you - by PDF scan document or by taking pictures of each exam page (information will be provided on the final exam copies). The exams are mostly multiple choice but do have some written component sections. Answers to all the exam questions are in the power points.
Your exam(s) will then be marked by one of our consultants and your signed certificate of completion will be forwarded to you by email within 1 to 2 business days. We will match the incoming number of exams to your order total.
A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course three times in efforts to achieve the pass mark. No one fails the course. If any member needs to redo the exam(s) - we will email then to do so.
